The numbers tell an ugly story for Tottenham.
A five-match losing streak leaves Tottenham just one point above the Premier League relegation zone. No home wins in 2026. Under new manager Igor Tudor, nine goals have been allowed in three games.
“Nine games left to play,” the Croatian coach said on Thursday evening after the 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace.
Tudor says he “saw something” in his team’s performance that gives him confidence for the rest of the Premier League season. However, many Tottenham fans had seen enough as many left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium long before the final whistle.
Tottenham led after striker Dominic Solanke’s goal but fell apart after captain Micky van de Ven was sent off for bringing down Ismaila Sarr. Palace then scored three times before half-time.
Tudor was hired on Valentine’s Day following the resignation of Thomas Frank, who remained in office for eight months. Tudor received a contract until the end of the season.

«I don’t think along those lines. I have my job to do, and that’s all,» Tudor said.
When asked if he would return to the manager’s seat, he replied: «No comment on that question.» bsf8.
Tottenham’s announcement on February 14 said Tudor’s job was «to improve performance, deliver results and take us higher in the Premier League.»
Thursday’s defeat extended the north London club’s winless run in the Premier League to eleven games. It also extended an unwanted personal streak for Tudor. He was sacked by Juventus last October after three consecutive defeats as part of an eight-match winless run.
Tottenham’s only wins (two) in 2026 have come in the Champions League, and that sets the stage for Tottenham’s next match – Tuesday against Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the round of 16.
The next Premier League match is in Liverpool on March 15.
Solanke told the club’s internal media that the players understand the assignment.
“We had a quick chat and we have to understand that we have to improve – and we have to do that now,” he said after the match. “It is of course difficult to say that only in words, we have to show it on the field.
“We need to see clearly what is going wrong on the pitch, discuss it and see what we can change, but we are not in a position to dwell on that now,” he added. “We have to make sure we are on it for the next game, see how we can improve and see what we can do to change this form.”
