Tour du Mont Blanc Day 1

We started our morning with a delicious breakfast at Saint Antoine and we got our picnic before visiting and addressing the cable car.

Our plan for the day was to take the cable car and the variant path to see the colonel of Tricot, go to the refugee for snack and cold beer, and walk around the city.

We arrive early at the Bellevue cable car and ride it to the top. It was a good fast trip.

It was beautiful riding the mountain. When we reached the top, we were received by flower fields and impressive views. We come to climb a little, clinging to the chains. He crossed a Himalaos style bridge over a beautiful water fall.

The views of everything were impressive.

We quickly arrive at Col de Tricot and visited the refugee at the bottom of the steep hill. They had delicious strawberry cake and blueberry cake. 😋 It was so good with our cold beer.

We spent a farm of cows that played beautiful music with their bells.

We continue on the way to Mont Tuc and the next refugee, Auberg Le Cruz, to listen to the cows and drink more cold beer. Preston lay on the grass and took a nap.

We leave the refugee and walk to them contaminate, on a steep road until we arrive at the Gai Soleil hotel. It was a nice building with orange blinds. I talked to the INN guardian who offered us dinner reservations and told us the time for breakfast and picnic collection. She told us that about 80% of TMB hikers who come through the hotel are making luggage transfers, which is when she pays a company to transfer their luggage from a hotel/shelter at the next stop.

We walk around the city for a while. Finally we find a good restaurant where we have dinner and cold beer. A small road went and obtained Sorbet. When we were going back to the hotel, we met another lady from the United States that we met the night before at dinner. We have to talk a little with her about the walk of the day.

We returned to the hotel and Preston froze the ankle in the garden, where it was pleasant and fresh from the shadow. I got comfortable in the grass, happy not to be bitten by insects. We sat down for a while, enjoying the air and the views of the mountain before going to our room for the bed.
