MTN sterile point for Logan Brook Lean-to
Today things returned to the strenuous category, I would say. Elevation gain of almost 6,000 feet and a good amount of steep and rocky downhill as well. In general, I thought I was doing quite well. I arrived at my goal arriving at Logan Brook Leak-to and in the process I could witness some remarkable sections of path.
Near the camp at the end of the day, I felt the rigidity and tension on my knees of excessive use up and down all day. Apart from that, however, I felt quite elegant. The spirits were high after obtaining some spectacular views and my first look at Mount Katahdin today!
Here is the elevation profile for the day. It was divided a bit between a series of morning roller mountains that culminated at the low point of the West Branch Pleanant River river, and then a second series of roller coaster to the white cover …
And I wasn’t sure if I ever published the screen capture of Maine Farout’s map, so here it is. The purple circle is about where I am today and that rectangle in the northern end is the Baxter state park!

Here are the photos and videos of the day:
Very soon on the walk, I crossed a little big through the classic style of Maine Boardwalk. I found these ordered jug plants.
Strange place to land. I do not know the story here, but in the middle it is documented in the line..

Impressive breakfast place.

I was very grateful for the perfect location of this cleaning and private molding luxury!
Most of the day I was in the trees, but most of my photos are from the few times I appeared for the views …

This is from the top of the white cover around 5:00 pm and near the end of my hiking day. The path wrapped and gave different views around the lower land.

Monte Katahdin … around 65 miles of paths (I think) between her and me.
I put the time near the top of the white cover for a while and then I made a late thrust for the camp another mile and a half or so.
Beautiful picnic table! How and was the only one until a hiker named no one appeared late.
Water source in the shelter.
In the future, it is very possible that there is a considerable gap between the next publications that are built on the site. It seems that the next part of the trip could be more remote and I am not sure when I will reach it. So don’t fear. Stevie and Sumi walk. Happy paths. All of you.
It is such an incredible privilege to be on this trip backpacking in the east of the United States and I have a lot of gratitude for the opportunity. While impulse to finish the path of the Apalaches, I am also making an impulse to achieve my goal when raising funds for Outdoor empowered network (OEN)! I am trying to raise $ 2 for each mile that I walk and I am staying behind! Any amount helps … $ 2, $ 5, etc. Everything adds
The sad reality is that many never get to know the benefits of connecting with nature. I want others to experience this relationship that has been so important in my life. Imagine a child who is amazed at a bright and colorful butterfly, laughing at a frog jumping from them, curious why the leaves change the colors with the season. When donating, these are the things you would do that happen!
So thanks for joining the trip! It means a lot that you took the time to read these adventures. And if you want to help all children get access to the outdoor, help me support OEN! The «Council author» button is a direct link to my fund collection page. You are all really incredible. Thank you!
The audiobook began:
The Lord of the Rings: the two towers, narrated by Andy Serkis – Jrr Tolkien
Day album:
«Life will write the words» (2012) – The Rocket Summer
