Two toned echoes, falling over time

Although I was a bit annoying for not getting the WFS in Galehead … there is something extremely romantic to wake up in the middle of a pine forest, enjoying a dawn of the comfort of my bed. With the sun rising on the horizon and wanting to reach a great day in the whites, I quickly got out of the camp and displayed. Memory is curious. In my head, I remembered that this section was extremely flat, and a postponement welcome before boarding the rest of the PEMI loop. On the other hand, although it was certainly not difficult, there were definitely many more ups and downs than I remember … and now I’m slower. I really want to attribute this to my body break … I need to stop being so hypochondriac about it.

Early in the morning, I separated from the PEMI loop to go for double, which is the path that follows, and quickly pocketed my 21 of the 48 of New Hampshire in Zealand. It is not a peak … And it was not a detour very far, so I didn’t care at all.

The rest of the PEMI comes out in the distance. bye bye!

Lisado by Zeacliff, and then began the descent to the Zealand Falls cabin, which I reached quite fast. As long as I was there … I finally let my emotions about yesterday hit. As a fast reminder, yesterday began with a quick microgiving against me … Asian-nb, and although it was small, reminders that some people can reduce my identity to something that could not control more than at birth really stinks. So here, I talked to the Croo member and began to break a little. However, it’s fine, now I can lose electrolytes and water without feeling bad.

If you want a view, Mount Hale is not your friend

Oh! I also deposited the Doublewide sleeping bag here to return to him. Thanks to him, I could have a relatively toasted night, although he definitely did not have the team that was supposed to owe for the area. So, although yesterday it was Poopy … the path always provides.

After eating and drinking my filling, I go out to the Ethan Pond shelter. Fortunately, my memory did not fail here … Everything here was … flat! Flat flat plane, and a glorious soft earth. My joints cried in ecstasy by finally not being constantly attacked. While keeping moving, I could feel that my energy was still reduced and decreased. I feel great, I know that I am finally eating enough … but I think at some point, the body is not as strong as in Virginia. I will take many zeros in the future, I promise. But at the same time, there is no place to really go down during whites. I think that adds to its legendary mystical difficulty.

I made a quick visit to Ethan Pond, where I stayed during a Tom/Field/Willey/Hale circuit last fall. However, I’m glad I have not to stay here now … The insects were intense in the pond. I am also glad that trail designers were not crazy enough to enruta at Tom/Field/Willey. Especially Willey climbing? March of death.

He went down to Crawford Notch … and then began to return to the right, after filtering some road water. Even so, it is all we have, since it has not rained hard in always …

Crawford Notch really intimidated me a bit! I have not climbed the presidential range before, despite my previous experience in the whites. Only … something over the whole range scared me. He exuded some type of dark energy with which he had not wanted to get before. But now it is inevitable. Nothing is going here …

Today has been a day of descent, so I was glad to climb. Many people talked about how difficult it was Webster Cliffs, but it didn’t seem more difficult than the other climbs on this path. Just a little more intense with a little climbing. But I didn’t find it wrong at all.

But … this is where the disaster began to hit. I did not sleep well in the notch, and although I had a good night of sleep last night, I probably still have tons of sleep debt to catch up. Then … I was starting to be sleepy, even with music explaining my ears. And what happened? I slipped. HARD. One of my posts was completely deformed, and I hit the roof in my left elbow, letting a big shout escape. It wasn’t serious, I didn’t break anything, but it certainly hurt and it could certainly have been worse. I wonder if it is also partially from my shoes losing your traction … but who can say? Who will say?

And, like everyone in generation Z, after taking stock of knowing that I was fine, I had to take a selfie

Going up to Jackson, he was just being cautious. While everything chopped, I could certainly walk well, so I dragged my unfortunate butt to the Mizpah cabin. Where … another miracle of whites hit. I got around 8:30, and I knew it was quite unlikely that they granted me a job for stay … and yet boom! I have one! The croo let me eat, before giving me my duty … the compost mixture. Since I was late, they gave me a task that I had not been, but I was a super a Labor. First he had to take compost and turn it into the rest of the compost, mixing it for 10 minutes. And that mixture was not an easy mixture. It was only me dragging a gallows through mulch and earth basically, while flies buzzed everywhere wanting the remains. Ewww … then, I had to mix another mulch bucket for about 10 minutes. Even so, about 25 minutes later, with the work done, I returned and enjoyed more food. I also asked if they wanted something else, and a person wanted a dance, so … Dance! And they said it was «much better than they expected.» I guess they don’t know that they are talking in the choice of Trail Days 2025 judge for the air guitar.

I also had the opportunity to meet my friend WFS, little foot! She is walking Sobo, and is crushing it, today walked from Madison and had a floor sweep duty. We simply talk a little about how both walks are going. It is fun to see how excited they are still the sobos, who have not been physically or mentally beaten. It was a good review of hearing a different perspective on the path that is not tired.

However, talking about being tired, at the end of today, I was beat. So I quickly crawled on the bed and just tried to let the soft sounds of the residents who drag me to sleep sleep. Unfortunately, with my new headphones, they don’t last all night. So I can’t put a podcast or something to help sleep. But still, with such great thrust, I will leave quickly …

However, I took a quick moment to look at the stars. And Wow, they were beautiful! Now that the AT is becoming much more remote … I can see the Milky Way for the first time in my life. And it was beautiful. The whole path here has been.
