Arsenal started his UEFA Champions League 2025-26 campaign with a 2-0 win to Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday, with Gabriel Martinelli who made an immediate impact of the bank to open the score and another replacement, Leandro Trossard, who took the second place.
Martinelli replaced Ebereechi in the 71st minute, with Arsenal struggling to find a breakthrough despite creating many opportunities, and the replacement yielded an impressive solo goal after less than a minute on the field.
The Brazilian attacker was sent on goal after a Flicked Pass by Trossard, and the two again combined three minutes of the time, with Martinelli’s withdrawal of the name rule ended by Trossard.

Belgian debutant Union Saint-Gilloise shocked PSV
Belgium’s Union Saint-Gilloise made a dream debut in the UCL group phase by a stunning host PSV Eindhoven 3-1 in a spicy derby against his Dutch counterpart.
Union, who won the Belgian title for the first time in 90 years last season, earned his first points when David turned an early penalty and Anouar Ait El Hadj ran half of the length of the field to add a second before the interval.
Defender Kevin Mac Allister bundled home for the third 10 minutes of the time, forcing the ball over the line with his knees from a corner to complete a shock result.
PSV took a last-minute consolation through new signing Ruben van Bommel, but it was not possible to give a shine on a miserable night for the Dutch champion.
