UEFA fined Polish club Rakow Czestochowa 10,000 euros (USD 11,600) on Thursday after fans had shown an extreme right -wing political banner during a match against Maccabi Haifa.
The prevailing authority of European football announced the verdict on a complaint against Rakow of «sending a message that is not suitable for a sporting event» at the Qualifying game of the Europa Conference League last week, adding that the investigation continues in a separate incident with Maccabi -Upporters.
Diplomats from Poland and Israel criticized Maccabi fans last week for showing a banner who said «murderers since 1939» in English.
A week earlier, during the game on the first pipes in Poland, Rakow supporters had shown a banner in Polish that Israel killed people and the world was silent.

Rakow continues to play in the Conference League-Bulgarian side Arda organize later on Thursday in the first stage of the qualifying Playoffs round-after the elimination of Maccabi with 2-1 on aggregated.
Rakow also received a fine of 30,000 euros (USD 34,800) by UEFA for fans who illuminated fireworks at the second legs that Maccabi was hosted in Neutral Hungary.
A ban on one game on Rakow that sells tickets for an away game in a UEFA competition was suspended for a probationary period of two years.
UEFA did not refer last week in his disciplinary judgment to Rakow’s formal request to exclude Maccabi from European competitions next season for alleged «repeated violations» of his rules.
«We don’t agree with the distortion of the historical truth,» Rakow said last Friday about the banner «Murderers». «Poland often risked their lives that held Jews and organized the resistance to Nazi Germany.»
