The teenager of Manchester City Claudio Echeverri impressed his first start and scored a beautiful free kick in a 6-0 club World Cup victory in Al Ain. The strike of the 19-year-old helped the place of Seal City in the last 16.
Coach Pep Guardiola praised Echeverri’s dedication in training after the midfielder curled his shot in the upper corner of the edge of the box.

What did Pep Guardiola say about Echeverri?
«I want to tell you something, so since he arrived (in January), the (last) three or four months with the boys, at the end of the training session, he only practiced the free kicks, with the ‘keeper, with the wall,’ said Guardiola reporters.
“The others, they did not practice, he was practicing and practicing and the work pays off.
«So at the end he had the courage, the quality. If you practice, you know, it is just like Golf or just like basketball, just as much that you practice shots for free, the more opportunities you have.»
Echeverri, nicknamed the ‘Little Devil’, joined the Argentinian Giants River plate and made his city debut in May, in the FA Cup Final Nound by Crystal Palace.
Guardiola took him for Phil Foden during the break and later explained that the playmaker had suffered a small knock.
«It was a fantastic goal, he is an incredible player in the small spaces,» the city coach continued.
