Portugal -midfielder Ruben Neves unveiled a tattoo as a tribute to the late Diogo Jota prior to the FIFA World Cup qualifications of the country against Armenia and Hungary.
The tribute comes after Jota and his brother Andre Silva lost their lives in July in a car accident in northwestern Spain.
Last week, head coach Roberto Martinez of Portugal announced a ’23 plus one ‘member of a’ member for the coming games. Martinez said that an extra place in the team remained empty for Jota.
Moreover, Neves also took over the number 21 sweater that was supported by Jota for the national team.
