VVR
We arrived in the afternoon in VVRwhich is a wild complex right next to the JMT/PCT in which many hikers stop. I explored the area for a while and then made a map of the place. After that I decided to eat some food. The dinner menu changes daily, so when I get there, you will have a surprise! But I will tell you that I had a croissant with Tofu and some green leafy green. Very good! We found a place in the camp in «fungal city» and we also found a dead mouse around. Some other hikers said they rent a canvas tent and that the mice dragged. Ewww.
Be sure to check your tab. Suggestion suggestion. For breakfast I took one side of pancakes and I don’t know if I would get them again. (They have ten inches wide, but they don’t have real arce syrup.) However, hash browns are good. 😋 The showers are ten dollars for eight minutes. And laundry is also ten for a complete washing. VVR has lonely clothes if you need it. For lunch on the second day, when we were taking a zero in VVR, he had pasta of the hiker box. And Truckumall got my first shake. Can you believe it ten years and I have never had a shake?
Day 1:
So we started the morning a little difficult because I didn’t want to leave the store. It is very cozy in my warm sleeping bag, but I finally had the will to get up. I had a boring breakfast (rice noodles with miso soup). When we got on the ferry to leave VVR, I relaxed for the last time to the reds. Then we start our walk. It turned out to be a pleasant day for me.

Day 2:
We had a 15 mile day in front of us, so we packed and left! The walk was hot and strenuous, but beautiful. Some yesterday were walking through the Ansel Adams desert and my mother really enjoyed it. Personally I don’t know anything about him. But so beautiful!
Red piss
When we finally arrive at Redwhich is another place where JMT hikers refuse, obtained a garden hamburger and a vanilla shake. The trucks obtained a hamburger with double cheese with some type of meat and a strawberry shake with a piece of cake. There were no gluten -free options for landslides in coffee. Poop. We sit with our friends on the path (his soft service and football dad). They were not going to stay in the reds during the night, but we said why not?

Trucker got us very generously a quite expensive cabin for a place with a The mouse stuck to the trap. But it’s good to get a comfortable bed! The truck took the upper floor so that women could have the bedroom near the bathroom. Public showers cost a dollar per minute, more better than VVR, but … the cabins have a shower and without time limit. And if you get one, do not buy the shampoo and the conditioner in the store (the room has shampoo, conditioner and lotion).

The red store has many drinks that are alcoholic and not alcoholic. They have fried potatoes, they are not simple, but Jalapeño and some others. I have some cliff bars, which are good. In the refrigerator they have pieces of chicken, pickles, carrots in pickle, yogurt and inhalable. Ok, they also have backpackers pantry meals.
VVR vs red
If you are looking for all the experience of the hiker, I would recommend VVR. If that doesn’t care, then I would say that Reds has a better store. I really like both. LSL, who does not eat gluten or dairy, said he found more food options in the Reds store than in VVR. He also said that he found that the red personnel were really kind and helpful. However, he enjoyed VVR and said that he probably attracts those who like the social scene of the hiker. Mother Trucks says that VVR has more extensive food options, while reds only have a basic menu of hamburgers and sandwiches, but she said that her hamburger on Red’s was really good.
