Manchester City and Norway Erling Haaland made his YouTube debut on Thursday with a video titled Day in the life of a professional footballer.
The 27-minute video provides a never-before-seen insight into what powers Haaland’s goal-scoring machine. Adding maple syrup to his coffee, absorbing vitamin D from a red light machine and mastering the art of grilling tomahawk steaks are just a few parts of the 25-year-old’s daily routine.
“People always see the games, the goals, the celebrations – but not the hours it takes to be ready for that,” Haaland said of YouTube’s launch. «This video shows the routine, the food, the recovery, the little details that matter. It’s kind of who I am off the field, and I hope people enjoy seeing that side.»

The City striker has scored 24 goals in 14 appearances for club and country combined so far this season.
