Manisha Kalyan gave India new hope when she scored from a free-kick during her country’s final group match against Chinese Taipei in the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup on Tuesday rfv15.
Manisha took the free kick, the ball hit the inside of the woodwork and then bounced past the goal line at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta, Australia in the 39th minute.

The goal restored the tie at 1-1, but Chinese Taipei soon took the lead again through a penalty, which deflected off Panthoi Chanu Elangbam to make it 2-1.
