West Ham Sack’s head coach Graham Potter


Premier League Club West Ham United on Saturday fired head coach Graham Potter after a series of overwhelming results.

«Results and performance in the course of the second half of last season and the start of the 2025/26 season are not agreed expectations, and the board of directors is of the opinion that a change is needed to improve the position of the team in the Premier League as quickly as possible,» was the club’s statement.

The club also confirmed the outputs of assistant -coach Bruno Saltor, first team coaches Billy Reid and Narcis Pelach, main goalkeeper -Coach Casper Ankergren and goalkeeper -coach Linus Kandolin with immediate effect.

With only one win in five games, West Ham is currently 19th and in the relegation zone in the League Points table. Potter supervised a debilitating 1-2 defeat by Crystal Palace at home in his last outing as head coach of the club.

The former Chelsea boss joined the Hammers in January of this year and was in charge of the club for only 25 games and took only six wins.
