Manchester United recorded a shock 2-1 victory over defending champions Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday.
Bryan Mbeumo set up the visitor in the second minute before Cody Gakpo equalized in the 78th minute. But defender Harry Maguire headed into the net in the 78th minute to break the deadlock and seal United’s victory.
This was the Red Devils’ first victory at their arch-rivals’ home ground in almost a decade. United’s last win at Anfield came in January 2016 when Wayne Rooney scored in the 78th minute.
