Will the son of South Korea Heung-Min make his MLS debut for Lafc vs Chicago Fire?


Fresh from one of the greatest acquisitions in the MLS history, Los Angeles FC (LAFC) wants to cause a new series of results. In the meantime, the confidence of the Chicago Fire is increasing after a number of consecutive victories.

Looking for strengthening his PlayOFF position in the Western Conference, Lafc (10-6-6, 36 points) made the headlines this week through the South Korean star and the former Tottenham Hotspur Severe Son Heung-Min.

The 33-year-old, who scored more than 170 goals in all competitions for the Premier League club, joined an MLS record USD 26.5 million transfer costs for a deal that could hold him in Los Angeles until 2029.

Media reports from South Korea and the United States have both confirmed that the South Korean has received its visa and is officially eligible to play in the MLS. While Lafc wants to bounce back from a 1-0 housing loss to Portland on July 25 in his last MLS promotion, Son will probably come up with a limited time on his debut.

«My fitness is great,» Son noted during this week’s introductory media meeting.

«I came here to play football and I am ready to play. But there is preparation to be ready and I will collaborate with the coaching staff and others to get on the field as quickly as possible.»

In the meantime, the new teammate Denis Bouanga, who scored 13 ml goals, was able to leave after not appearing this week in this week’s victory.

Bouanga scored away in four of his last five ml away.
