Ornella Vignola van Everton got a hat trick on her debut for Women Super League when her side defeated Liverpool 4-1, while Arsenal and Manchester United also reached a winning start when England’s top light returned this weekend.
Arsenal Hammered promoted on Saturday with London City Lionesses 4-1 before Vignola grabbed the headlines with her exciting display for Everton on Sunday fdsm.

Cornelia Kapoc, Liverpool, brought the host a great start at Anfield by shooting home in the 12th minute from the bottom of the crossbar, but that was almost for the Reds as the 20-year-old Vignola in the middle.
The wing player, who was born in Uruguay but Spain represented at a minor level, walked to Ceri Holland before he led a brilliant equalizer in the 24th home and Captain Katja Snoeijs led an excellent second to send Everton up 2-1.
Vignola then flashed a header in the net nine minutes after the restart to bring it 3-1 and assured her hat trick with a bent attempt two minutes later to complete the routes.
In Manchester, the French attacker Melvine Malard scored two late goals when United Leicester City won 4-0, while Bethany England yielded a late penalty to give Tottenham Hotspur a 1-0 win over West Ham United in their London Derby.
On the south coast, Brighton & Hove Albion was held for a 0-0 draw at home by Aston Villa, the only one of the six games during the opening weekend of the 12-team League without goal.
