Striker Mohamed Salah was added to Liverpool’s squad for the club’s Premier League match against Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield on Saturday.
Liverpool boss Arne Slot spoke to Salah on Friday morning before deciding to include the Egyptian for this weekend’s match.
Salah had accused Liverpool of throwing him «under the bus» and said he had no relationship with the Dutch manager after being left on the bench for last week’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United – the third straight game he did not start.
The 33-year-old did not travel to Tuesday’s Champions League match against Inter Milan, which Liverpool won 1-0, and posted a photo on social media of himself alone in a gym at the club’s training ground.
Salah had a sub-par start to the season and scored only four times in thirteen Premier League matches.
