Railways defeated 10-member Jharkhand 6-0, while Meghalaya, Chandigarh, Delhi and Uttarakhand all emerged victorious in the final set of the Santosh Trophy 2025-26 group stage matches.
Delhi defeated Bihar 2-0, while Uttarakhand took advantage of a red card from Haryana to beat it by the same scoreline. Chandigarh defeated Uttar Pradesh 1-0 and Meghalaya defeated Arunachal 2-1.
Thirty-five teams divided into eight groups of four and one group of three are currently participating in the group stage of the tournament. The group winners will join hosts Assam, defending champions West Bengal and runners-up Kerala in the final round in Dhakuakhana and Dhemaji.
