Neymar broke into Santos FC’s top 10 all-time scorers this week after scoring twice in a 2-1 win against Vasco da Gama in the Brazilian league.
He also received more support in his bid to make the Brazil squad for the World Cup.
Friday’s match was only the third of the year for 34-year-old Neymar. He suffered a cruciate ligament injury in October 2023 and underwent further knee surgery in December.
