The 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup is just around the corner and will feature twelve teams divided into three groups, all competing for the title of Asian Champions.
This year’s edition will be hosted by Australia and will kick off on March 1, with the first match being a showdown between the host nation, Australia and the Philippines, held at Optus Stadium (Perth Stadium) in Perth.
This will be the last time the tournament will be linked to the FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers, as a standalone qualifier for the tournament will be held from the 2031 edition onwards.
