Nahuel Molina scored a spectacular long-range strike as Atletico Madrid recorded a 1-0 win over Getafe in La Liga on Saturday to close the gap to the top two.

Defender Molina’s excellent strike, which was struck into the top corner from over 25 yards after eight minutes, was enough to separate the teams at Atletico’s Metropolitano Stadium.

Getafe’s afternoon got worse when Moroccan defender Abqar was dismissed for grabbing Sorloth’s cross as the angry Norwegian striker threw him to the ground.
Despite Atletico’s numerical advantage, the visitor had the best of the second half and created good chances to equalize.
