Ahead of the World Cup qualifying play-offs next week, FIFA has received permission from FIFA to play for Suriname.
Piroe and Melayro Bogarde, defender at the Austrian club LASK, are Dutch youth internationals with family ties to Suriname, which plays against Bolivia on March 26.
FIFA late on Wednesday published its approval for both players to change the national team’s eligibility to represent the country that gained independence from the Netherlands in 1975.
Suriname shares a border with Brazil at the northern tip of South America, although it plays in the CONCACAF football region that includes the Caribbean and Central America.
Suriname will play Bolivia next Thursday in Monterrey, Mexico, in an intercontinental play-off round to qualify for the World Cup. The winner will play against Iraq five days later, with a World Cup place at stake.

None of the players that Henk ten Cate, the former Ajax coach, has called up play for a club in Suriname.
The winner of the play-offs will be in a difficult World Cup group with France, Norway and Senegal in June.
The Dutch Football Association also signed off on FIFA changing the eligibility of 18-year-old Benjamin Khaderi, a midfielder at PSV Eindhoven, to Morocco.
