Manchester United made their last eight debut in the UEFA Women’s Champions League with a 2-3 defeat to Bayern Munich at Old Trafford on Wednesday. The match started when Bayern took the lead after two minutes, from Pernille Harder.

United are enjoying their first European experience since losing to Paris Saint-Germain in qualifying in the 2023/24 season.
Bayern recovered from a 1-7 defeat at Barcelona at the start of the league stage to finish fourth and qualify for the quarter-finals for the eighth time in ten seasons.
