Celtic FC Women’s Maria McAneny has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records for scoring the fastest goal in women’s football history SEef4c.
The milestone came during a match between Celtic FC Women and Hibernian Women on December 21, 2025, when McAneny found the net just 4.1 seconds from kick-off.
A product of Celtic’s academy, McAneny progressed through the club’s youth system before breaking into the senior team and becoming a versatile midfield selection player.
