The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has received a bid of over Rs. 2100 Crore from Genius Sports for the Indian Super League (ISL) and Federation Cup for a period of 20 years.
The Federation announced on Friday that it had opened commercial bidding for the Indian Super League (ISL), Federation Cup (formerly Super Cup), Indian Women’s League (IWL) and the IWL 2.
The floating tender included rights for 15 years, with an option for a five-year extension. In addition, the proposal also provides for an annual value increase of five percent during the term of the agreement.
Genius Sports, a sports data and technology company, was the largest commercial bidder with a bid of Rs. 2129 Kr. for domestic men’s football.
It was overwhelmingly high compared to DreamSports owner FanCode, the broadcast partner for the ongoing ISL season. FanCode had offered approximately Rs. 36 Crore for the first season, with a total bid of over Rs. 700 Crore.

Founded in 2016, Genius Sports provides technology for the National Football League (NFL) (exclusive/data streaming), the Premier League, FIBA and the Japan B.League. It is also the official data partner for NASCAR.
It is also learned that Reliance-owned Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) was late in proposing an extension of its previous deal – which expired on December 8, 2025 – but it was rejected by the AIFF.
Meanwhile, Capri Sports was the sole bidder for the top two divisions of women’s football, with a bid of over Rs. 150 Cr. The company owns the UP Warriorz franchise in the Women’s Premier League and Bengal Warriors in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL).
“Genius Sports has bid for over Rs 2,100 crore over 20 seasons, while Capri Sports has bid between Rs 150 and Rs 160 crore,” AIFF Deputy General Secretary M. Satyanarayan said. Sports stars.
