Argentine superstar Lionel Messi broke another record with Inter Miami as his team defeated Toronto FC 4-2 in Major League Soccer on Saturday.
Messi scored once and assisted twice, taking his tally of goals to 100 in just 64 games – the fastest player ever in the competition. He broke the record of Sebastian Giovinco, who needed 95 matches to achieve this feat.
He now has 59 goals and 41 assists since joining Inter Miami late in the 2023 season.
