The final stages of the 2025-2026 Premier League season are fast approaching and both West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur are looking to secure their futures in the competition.
Tottenham Hotspur’s draw with Leeds United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and West Ham United’s controversial defeat to Arsenal mean both teams are still in serious danger of losing their top-flight status.
Here’s how Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United can survive relegation:
Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham still have their fate in their own hands and lead West Ham by two points with two games to go. A couple of wins would confirm its safety, while a win and a draw would probably also suffice given the superior goal difference. However, in the event of any defeats, it will depend on West Ham’s result to ensure safety.
Remaining matches: Chelsea (A), Everton (H)
Westham United
West Ham United need Spurs to lose at least once if they want to stay in the competition now. Two wins would last if Spurs lost at least once, while a single win would suffice if Spurs lost twice.
Remaining matches: Newcastle United (A), Leeds United (H)
