Croatia has announced its squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which starts on June 11 in the US, Mexico and Canada.
Talisman and skipper Luka Modric is participating in his fifth World Cup, after participating in 2006, 2014, 2018 and 2022.
Wingbacks Josip Juranovic and Borna Sosa, who were part of the 2022 squad, are missing.
Croatia finished third at the 2022 World Cup, while they were the losing finalist in the 2018 edition.
Zlatko Dalic’s Croatia is in Group L together with England, Panama and Ghana and starts its campaign against England on June 17 in Arlington.
