The 2025-26 Indian Super League (ISL) season came to an end as East Bengal secured its first top-flight title in 22 years on Thursday.
The Red and Gold Brigade defeated Inter Kashi to finish level with rivals Mohun Bagan Super Giant, edging out the trophy on goal difference.
The foreign striker, Youssef Ezzejjari, finished the season with eleven goals and secured the Golden Boot, while Brazilian midfielder Miguel Figueira won the Golden Ball. Meanwhile, much of this season’s success can also be attributed to the backline, which has been led by the partnership between Anwar Ali and Kevin Sibille.
