I went for a walk at 7.45 am. Unlike yesterday, he stayed practically dry the entire hike. I saw two deer, one some distance away running across a hillside and another very close to my mid-morning coffee stop. The latter chose to cross a busy road and caused the rapid reaction of several motorists. Fortunately, he made it to the other side safely. A Highland cow also found me of great interest!
