Arsenal’s Kai Havertz scored in the opening six minutes to give his side an early lead in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest on Saturday.
Havertz’s goal was scored after 5 minutes and 2 seconds when the German drove through on goal and produced a powerful finish.
However, Havertz’s goal is not the fastest in a Champions League final. The record belongs to AC Milan’s Paolo Maldini, who scored after just 51 seconds in the 2005 final against Liverpool in Istanbul.
