An analysis of AceOdds.com has estimated that fans will have to spend an average of €54,000 (approximately INR 59 lakh) for an average of two people across all 48 countries participating in the World Cup. These costs are divided into the following buckets:
- Tickets: approximately €26,500 (approximately INR 29 lakh)
- Accommodation: approximately €13,000 (approximately INR 14 lakh)
- To flee: approximately €10,500 (approximately INR 11.5 lakh)
- Food & Drink: approximately €4,500 (approximately INR 5 lakh)
Of those 48 countries, fans from Iraq (64,500 euros) and Jordan (62,000 euros) will face the highest levels of spending, while Panama (48,500 euros) and the Czech Republic (49,500 euros) will be the cheapest.
