Swedish midfielder Yasin Ayari scored in the side’s opening match against Tunisia in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Group F match at Monterrey Stadium.
The midfielder grabbed the rebound after Viktor Gyokeres’ shot was blocked on the line by the defender, unleashing a powerful shot past the keeper.

The Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder was born in Solna, Sweden, to parents of Moroccan and Tunisian descent. He worked his way through the youth teams of his native country before making his senior debut in 2023.
He could have played international football for Tunisia had he not been picked by the Swedish national team
