Anthony Elanga completed a relocation from Nottingham Forest to Newcastle for a reported 55 million pounds ($ 74 million) on Friday.
The Sweden International signed what Newcastle described as a long -term deal.
«He is an exciting talent with attributes that make him a unique attacking threat. His pace, energy and ability to create and score goals will strengthen us and the way we want to play,» said Newcastle coach Eddie Howe.
The 23-year-old Elanga started his career at Manchester United, but settled as a leading player in the Premier League in Forest after his 15 million pounds ($ 20 million) movement in 2023.
He was one of the best artists in Forest, because it made a surprise push for the Champions League last season. Forest eventually missed in a top five place, but Elanga gets the chance to play in the Elite competition with Newcastle.

Elanga is the first important signing of Newcastle of the low season.

The club won a trophy last season and builds something unique, something special that I really want to be part of.»
