Day 104: This morning we were subjected to the path for my sister -in -law Becca and Leo! Along the way, we had a delicious breakfast and lunch for the path on a local coffee in Norway. We start the day with a beautiful climb through CaldPate. He had done this walk once last year as a path, but it was a wet day without view. Today we had a beautiful climate with beautiful views. It was quite windy on the top. Once we reached the top, we ate our lunch. Towards the end of our walk Ellie, Bob and Cliff gathered us on the way to about 3 miles from the end. We just walked 10 miles today, which felt a great gift. We finish before 5 pm with a lot of daylight. Jeff Knight and his wife Patti and his wonderful hunting/fishing camp of their wonderful hunting/fishing field. It was very generous to let us stay here. Jeff and others from Black Mountain of Maine presented us a good outdoor meal in the camp, which we enjoyed very much. It was great to catch up with all those who have not seen since this winter. We finished the night with a fire.

Day 105: This morning we woke up at the Jeff Knight camp. We sleep deeply in its peaceful and cozy camp. Todd Reutlinger appeared this morning to register and make sure we were all ready. We put the Chile in the previous night and eat this for breakfast. Patti picked us up at the Jeff Knight camp, which is one of my father’s employees and Tom Deluca while walking with us today. Patti took us to the beginning of the path and Tom, my dad and I have a walk. We only had to walk 10 miles today, so he felt again as a pleasure. Tom gave us some treats such as biscotis, chocolate and sandwiches of fermented ham. It was ordered during our walk today to see White Cap Mountain in the distance, the Ryan mountain and I committed ourselves in 2019. My mother -in -law picked us up on the path, Carlene (my mother -in -law) and my dog McKinley. She transferred us to my law of law in Lower Richardson Lake. We have been looking to stay in your camp since the AT started! It is a day that he felt so far for so long, but now he is here. We had a lovely night at his camp with Ryan and his family, Jimmy (my father -in -law), Carlene, Kristen (my sister -in -law) and Dalton (my nephew). My dad took a dip and felt like a million dollars. Delicious hot dogs and cheese hot and cheese cook us! We go to bed early.

Day 106: We had a delicious breakfast made by Eagle Eye and Carlene! Today was a special day, since we were able to walk with KJ, one of my parents’ Golds. KJ occupies a special place in my heart. I lived with my parents just after graduating from the Nursing School for a couple of years and she entered our lives as a puppy during this time, 7 years ago. She is the most athletic dog and we have many adventurous memories with her. It was very nice to have your company on the road today. She is a bad back and is always full of energy. His path of path is «Psycho bitch.» We only had to help her in two technical sections today and, apart from that, she crushed it. We walk 13 miles at Earth. Perfect climate and beautiful path. Today we did not see hikers, except Bob Arsenault, who came to join us during the last little walk. During the last little little I wanted to cross this current without wetting my feet. There was this very skinny fallen tree through the current that I thought I could balance the use of my posts to cross. See the image below to get a visual. I got into the middle at the point of no return and the water became too deep so that my posts could help me balance more. In addition, I had dropped my sunglasses and the water bottle in the water. Unfortunately, the water bottle is down and was not real. My sunglasses, however, sunk to the bottom and surprisingly they did not sweat down the current. The current was not very strong, but it felt strong enough to wear sunglasses to take a walk. Anyway, I ended up falling from the tree and I was halfway from the spin in the water. I grabbed my sunglasses and put them in the head. My dad walked a little downstream and could rock. I guess I should have been more patient in my crossing photo. Well, at least we stayed at Rangelley tonight in our camp, so it didn’t matter if my shoes were soaked. Not long after we left the current, I noticed that my sunglasses were not in my head. I was disappointed but ready to overcome it. Bob was very kind and ran back to try to look for them. Indeed, it returns from 10 to 15 minutes later with my sunglasses. I was so happy.
Some of our friends, family and Fitch Company surprised us with an outdoor meal in the apogee of the earth. Huge shout to Ryan and Aunt Diane for organizing this. Also very grateful for Patti and Mike Daigle for cooking the best hamburgers and hot dogs in the apogee of the earth. James, my cousin’s boyfriend took us beautiful photos and crew. We feel empowered to reach the land of the earth, since this is really what it feels at home and is the most special path of paths in general for us. With my parents having a camp in Rangelley, every time we lead to the camp, which is almost every weekend, we drive through the height of the earth. My best friend of the university, Rachel, who lives in Massachusetts, was in Rangngeley during the weekend and surprised me in this outdoor meal. It is really difficult to surprise me, but she really got me. It was very special. She brought my dad and my rails and the Cabot Cheddar cheese blocks. Rachel came with her husband, Ryan. The last time I walked to Katahdin was actually with Rachel, Ryan and my Ryan in 2018. See the image below. We go to the camp with complete belly. When we arrived at the camp, it was time to calm and go to bed soon. We wash our clothes and prepare everything for tomorrow.
