Frenchman Didier Deschamps equaled German Helmut Schon on Thursday for the most games scored in the history of the FIFA World Cup. The Blues Take on Morocco in the quarterfinals at Boston Stadium.
Deschamps is now level with Schon on 25 games and has the chance to overtake the latter as France progresses further.
Deschamps, who took over as head coach in 2012 and managed 185 matches, will step down at the end of this tournament.
Under his tenure, France won the 2018 World Cup and came second in the following edition and at the 2016 European Championships.
Schon coached Germany to the 1974 World Cup on home soil, finishing second in 1966 and third in 1970.
