Real Madrid confirmed on Tuesday that star striker Kylian Mbappe will wear the No. 10 Jersey prior to the new season after the departure of club legend Luka Modric to AC Milan.
Last summer, Mbappe signed Los Blancos on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain and wore the No. 9 Jersey in his first season in the club.
Mbappe played for the last time with the No.10 sweater during his last season with AS Monaco for his switch to the Paris-based team. After having had 29 in his first season for the current French champion, the French attacker wore the 17 and 7 in the following years.
The number 10 sweater in Madrid was previously worn by James Rodriguez, Mesut Ozil and UEFA Champions League Luis Figo. The last Frenchman who was the song Donde, was midfielder Lassana Diarra between 2009 and 2011.
