RB Leipzig -striker Benjamin Sesko has been in the news after reports about bids submitted by Premier League parties Manchester United and Newcastle United for his services.
British media have reported that both clubs have submitted offers of more than 75 million euros for the Slovenian striker, and a definitive decision is rejected from the player’s camp as soon as Leipzig accepts the offer.
At the age of 22, Sesko is one of the most promising young strikers in the world and one of the leading markings in the Bundesliga. The forward scores 13 goals in 33 games in the 2024-25 season to end the ninth in the Golden Boot classification.

Since his move from the Austrian Bundesliga club RB Salzburg to Leipzig in the summer of 2023, Sesko has scored 27 goals in 64 performances. The striker also scored six goals in 16 performances in the UEFA Champions League in the past two years.
Sesko has won 16 goals in 41 performances for the Slovenian national team since he debuted in 2021.
Despite his target-per game ratio that does not inspire much trust, Sesko still has age by his side and is expected to develop into one of the leading strikers in Europe.
