Marcus Rashford invalidated the lack of strategy of Manchester United as leaving the English giant in «No Man’s Land» after he came on loan at Barcelona.
The 27-year-old, who played 426 times for United after coming through the club’s academy, left Old Trafford in January for a loan in Aston Villa after he had gotten out of grace with new Ruben Amorim manager.
United has had its worst season since he was relegated in 1973-74 when the 15th ended in the Premier League and not qualified for European competitions.
Rashford believes that the root of United’s problems in instability was caused by naming six different managers since Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.
«We are far below where we have been United States to be, but if you take a step back, what I have been able to do, especially in the past six months, what do you expect?» Rashford told the Rest is football Podcast.
“When Liverpool went through this, they got (Jurgen) Klopp, they stayed with him. They didn’t win in the beginning. People only remember his last few years when he competed with (Manchester) City and winning the biggest trophies.
“To start a transition, you have to make a plan and keep it. It is not easy to do. But this is what I am talking about being realistic with what your situation is.
«We have had so many different managers, different ideas and different strategies to win that you end up in no one’s country.»

Since Ferguson’s departure, United has not even been able to compete for the Premier League title or the Champions League.
At that time, Rashford is one of the few success stories for the Red Devils.
After being broken into the team in 2016 as an 18-year-old, he scored 138 goals for the club and won two FA cups and two competition cups.
However, he believes that the winning culture that was embedded during Ferguson’s 27-year term of office is worn out.
«When Ferguson was in charge, there were not only principles for the first team, but they were also for the entire academy,» Rashford added.
“Every team that has been successful for a certain period has principles that mean that every coach or player who comes in must match the principles.
«Sometimes United was hungry to win … but it was reactionary. If you always change direction, you can’t expect you to win the competition.»
Rashford seems to have played its last match for United with his move to the Spanish champion Barca, with an option to buy for a reported 35 million euros (£ 30 million, USD 41 million).
