‘No Smoke Without Fire’: Forest Boss Nuno adds fuel to leave rumors


Nottingham Forest -Baas Nuno Espirito Santo regretted his deteriorating relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis and said it was no longer built for trust.

While Bos played in Crystal Palace on Sunday, the majority of Nuno’s press conference on Friday about his relationship with Marinakis was in the midst of reports that the club is considering dismissing the Portuguese manager.

«There is no smoke without fire,» Nuno said about rumors.

Nuno, who said last week that his team had to be strengthened in all position, said that his relationship with Marinakis had been demolished and that they rarely speak.

«I always had a very good relationship with the owner, last season we were very close and spoke daily,» he said reporters.

«This season it is not so good (between us), but I always believe that dialogue is important because my care is the team and the season we have for us. Our relationship has changed and we are not so close.»
