Guite Vanlalpeka and Shyamal Besra have scored the other two goals for East Bengal and achieved a comfortable victory for the side.
East Bengal ends its group stage as a group A table with 23 points, with seven victories in 11 games.
It is arch -rival Mohun Bagan Super Giant, on the other hand, is in a precarious position. It is in sixth place, with 19 points with two games in hand. Suruchi Sangha is in third place with 19 points and only one match in hand.
Only the top three of each group goes to the Super Six phase.
