Kerala Blasters reveals ‘The Sanctuary’

Abhik Chatterjee, the CEO of the Indian Super League outfit Kerala Blasters (KBFC), revealed on the occasion of the new training facility of Onam called the club called ‘The Sanctuary’ for the first and youth teams.

“Our ownership group was determined that they wanted to find a way, they had a dream to make this possible and it was Nikhil’s perseverance and determination that this saw the light of the day. Our club leadership group, Shushen and Rizwan in particular, gave all this.

The club officer has also expanded his thanks to Sree Narayana Vidyapeetam Public School, Thrippunithura, a partner of KBFC in this project.

«Hopefully this will be the first of many. We buzzing to further develop this and for various reasons to make a memorable site. It can seem something routine for many, but for us it has a special place in our hearts,» he concluded.

Sport Minister Mandaviya launches mascot and logo of the Asian Aquatics Championship

Sports Mansukh Mandaviya Minister launched the mascot ‘Jalveer’ and logo for the next 11th Asian Aquatics Championship planned in Ahmedabad from 28 September to 11 October.

The event will serve as a qualification meeting for the Asian games of 2026.

Mandaviya was accompanied by civil servants of the Swimming Federation of India (SFI).

The championship will take place on the newly built Veer Savarkar -Sports complex, built according to Olympic specifications, and will organize more than 30 participating nations in multiple disciplines.

With more than 1000 participants who are expected to arrive in Gujarat for the championships later this month, the Indian swimmers event offers the chance to shine for the home crowd.
