Day 80: Crossing the Mason-Dixon line

We woke up in falling shelters. Without knowing it, we chose the snoring refuge; I am quite sure of snoring, so it is appropriate. The caregiver of the shelter appeared just before we left, and we talked about his history with the shelter and how he cleaned it to be the fantastic camp that is today. We always appreciate these administrators who offer their time, money and energy so that the path is a better place.

We walked for a few miles, and finally happened. We cross the Mason-Dixon line to Maryland. Another state down. We had a brief photo shoot in the state line covered in garbage and continued.

Day 80: Crossing the Mason-Dixon line

We arrived to Penmar Park and we find Taco again. He was heading to the city to turn on some supplies. We had an already arranged trip. My cousin Brooks would come to help us clean and get some food.

We returned to their apartment and took care of the showers and clothes. We have edible and go to lunch. I asked for a crab pretzel as an appetizer because we are in Maryland, Duh!

It was wonderful to catch up with Brooks and see the city in which he has been living. He has done the entire Maryland section of the AT, so it was pleasant to talk to him about what was to come.

After we said goodbye and returned to the path, they were 10 miles quickly to our camp. We immediately climb the high rock shelves covered in graffiti. I was lovely with all the spray painting, I guess.

The rest of the day was quite easy to crush, and we had a great time.
