Arsenal Executive Vice-Chair Lewis Leaves Club, Garlick called CEO

Arsenal announced a major recasting of the boardroom on Friday, in which executive vice-chairman Tim Lewis left the Premier League club and director Richard Garlick was promoted to Chief Executive Officer.

Lewis, who was appointed in March 2023, has been advising Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) since 2007 and joined Arsenal’s Board in September 2020 as director.

Garlick, who arrived in Arsenal in 2021 as director of football operations, served as director last year.

«Rich has had a huge impact on all fronts while we continue to strive to win big trophies, to be financially sustainable and to put our supporters in the heart,» said co-chairman of Arsenal Josh Kroenke.

“At the moment we want to thank Tim for his continuous dedication and dedication to Arsenal in a period of transformational change for the club.

«He played a crucial role and made sure that we are in a great position to continue to deliver our strategy in our ambition to win big trophies.»

Arsenal is second in the last three Premier League seasons, with his league title drought now 21 years.

It again recruited heavily in the narrow season, and added that the Centrum-Forward fans have long asked in the Sweden Viktor Gyokeres, strengthen the attack with the English Noni Madueke and Ebereechi Eze and the signing of Spanish defender Crisphian Mosquera.
