Monaco captain Denis Zakaria is out of the age of two months with a thigh injury that the Swiss midfielder already sidelined for his Midweek Champions League defeat at Club Brugge, said coach Adi Hutter on Saturday.
«We don’t expect to see him on the field for at least two months,» said Hutter prior to the Home Ligue 1 match on Sunday with Metz.
Zakaria will miss Champions League matches against Manchester City, Tottenham and Bodo, at least with doubts for the matches with Pafo’s at the end of November and Galatasaray at the beginning of December.

During the week, Monaco was hit 4-1 by Club Brugge without Zakaria who was injured during the training, although the size of the loss was only revealed on Saturday.
Monaco has nine points from four games so far in Ligue 1 after the third season ended behind Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille last season.
