I’m going to Katahdin

I’m just going through

I’ve been on the way for 6 months

I started in Georgia

I walked 2000 miles to get to Maine

Now what?

Now I’m going home.

I make a home in one place for a while.

I go back to work.

I stay active, perhaps in different ways of walking for a while.

I love cooking and eating healthy.

I love having showers and wearing clean clothes (almost) every day.

I miss my friends from the road.

I make new friends in the city.

I am Elayna again.

I am planning my next adventure.

I am earning money to be able to invest in a lighter team.

I’m dreaming of sleeping outside in my hammock again.

I’m dreaming of going again.
