Who is Koldo Obieta, the new Spanish signing of Kerala Blasters?

Kerala Blasters announced the signing of the Spanish attacker Koldo Obieta for the coming season on Friday.

The 31-year-old joins the club with a one-year contract from Real Unión, which plays in the fourth level of Spanish football.

Koldo, born in Gernika, Basque Country, developed his football in his hometown club, Gernika Club, before making his senior debut in 2012.

During his career, he has prominently present in various Spanish clubs, including Stints including Zamudio, SD Amorebieta, CD Tudelano and Ad Alcorcón.

«When I received the offer, I visited the club on the internet and saw so much about the fans. I am very proud to be part of this family. I can’t wait to get on the field and do my best,» said Obieta.
