Bundesliga 2025-26: Record-breaking Harry Kane on Doel while Bayern Munich Eintracht Vrankfurt beats


Bayern Munich-striker Harry Kane set a Bundesliga scoring record and Luis Diaz yielded twice when the leader drove past the host Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday on Saturday to continue a flawless start of the season with his sixth consecutive competition.

Kane, who also hit the woodwork in the second half from a point-white range, shot in his 11th competition goal in the 27th minute and became the first Bundesliga player to reach that brand after six games. He has now scored 18 goals in 10 games in all competitions this season.

Bayern, which also set a Bundesliga scoring record with 25 goals from the first six league games, has won all 10 competitive matches, a club record since the promotion to the Bundesliga in 1965.

It was also the 362nd League victory of Bayern -goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, similar to the Bundesliga record of former teammate Thomas Muller.

The Bavarians, top at 18 points, have a four-point lead on their next opponent, second placed Borussia Dortmund, who previously traveled at RB Leipzig on Saturday 1-1. Frankfurt is sixth with nine points.

«Great performance. I thought we were doing well in the first half to be two goals,» said England Kapitein Kane.

«In the second half we were better and we could have scored a few more. We now have momentum on our side, and we have to hold that. Now we travel to the national teams and then we have a huge match at home against Dortmund,» he added.

Fresh from a 5-1 demolition of pafos in the Champions League on Tuesday, Bayern shot out of the blocks and only needed 15 seconds to take the lead with the Tap-in of Colombia International Diaz at the distant post, and Frankfurt caught a nap.
