Aor Roma fell behind early, but came away on Sunday with a 2-1 win in Fiorentina to take top spot in the Serie A for the time being and to let the host wait for his first competition win of the season.
Four victories of five had propelled Roma among the title finances, and the visitor, looking for Salvation after his 1-0 Europa League loss of Lille on Thursday, earned another three points despite a tough Fiorentina performance.
Roma is on 15 points, three for AC Milan (later on Sunday on Juventus), Napoli (who organize Genoa) and Inter Milan, who defeated Cremonese 4-1 on Saturday. Fiorentina is fourth from below with three points from six games.
Roma by Gian Piero Gasperini had only admitted one goal in his five league trips, but it was Fiorentina, which was at the front in the 14th minute when a ball found the top by Hans Nicolussi Caviglia Moise Kean.
Kean turned and took his way to the area before he won a shot from outside the box in the far top corner to get his first goal of the season.
The lead took all eight minutes before the backheeled film by Artem Dovbyk ended from within the box with Matias Soule’s for the first time channeled shot from the edge of the area that Fiorentina keeper David de Gea left without a chance.

Roma took the lead on the half time from a corner. Bryan Cristante lost his marker and conducted a bullet header from outside the six-year box.
Kean got another chance for the break, but this time his effort rejected the upright and in the second half Fiorentina replacement Roberto Piccoli saw his strike bouncing from the bar.
Fiorentina, perhaps the better side over the 90 minutes, had a late chance to make it right, but Robin GoSens shot his shot high over the target up close. The last whistle brought angry with the home crowd, more for the result and the competition position than implementation.
