Bayern Munich’s stadium will host another Champions League final in 2028, while the 2029 final will be a match between London’s Wembley Stadium and Barcelona’s renovated Camp Nou.
UEFA confirmed the list of interested bidders from its member associations on Friday, suggesting a long-speculated final in New York would not take place until 2030.
“The declarations of interest are not binding and the final proposals must be submitted together with the bid files by June 10,” UEFA said in a statement.
Munich hosted the final last season and Wembley hosted the previous final in 2024. Barcelona has not been the final venue since 1999.
UEFA’s executive committee will decide in September next year on the host for the finals of all club competitions in 2028 and 2029.
This season’s Champions League final will be at the Puskas Arena in Budapest – with another early evening kick-off in Europe – and the 2027 final will be at Atletico Madrid’s stadium.
