Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde was not part of the line-up for the El Clasico against Barcelona at Camp Nou on Sunday.
Valverde was reportedly involved in a locker room scuffle with teammate Aurelien Tchouameni this week. Although the club said no punches were thrown between the two players, Valverde hurt his head and was sent to a hospital.
He then missed training later in the week and was ruled out for 10-12 days.
Madrid will also be without star player Kylian Mbappe, who has been ruled out as he recovers from a hamstring injury.
